Registers compiled by Hikone han that include the personal record of each Hikone hanshi. They were compiled by metsukeyaku, who were samurais responsible for the clan’s personnel management, based on résumés submitted by the house of each hanshi. These registers were maintained for almost 200 years until Hikone han was abolished.
